Major European Music Awards

Music in continental Europe is a huge industry involving millions of dollars in song-writing, production, and marketing. Being a hotbed of different music genres, Europe has a thriving music and entertainment industry. It is for this reason that different awards are held each year to reward the cream of the industry across various categories.

Music awards in Europe can be understood from different viewpoints. Firstly, there are country-specific awards that are organised by individual EU countries to reward their artists. Only citizens of these countries are eligible for these awards. Secondly, there are other awards held regionally, or at the continental level, to recognise the best acts across all member countries. Every European citizen is eligible for these awards.

In this section, we will list a handful of these awards.
